I can only speak for Dunlap, as I have not seen the other two play at all. At this point in time, I want to call fishwater an idiot for saying we may have wasted a scholly on him -- however, I do realize we both can only make assumptions at this point.
I saw Dunlap play in the 3A (or 4A? I can't remember) championship game in Jackson his sophomore year. My brother-in-law played for Corinth, and Amanda Elzy whipped them. I have seen Elzy play a few more times since then. He was clearly the best player on the court, and I was shocked to find out he was a sophomore after he had drained a couple deep threes. I talked about him with buddies for about a year before I ever heard talk about him on recruiting sites. The only knock I see on him, personally, is that he is somewhat short for a shooting guard. However, his jump shot is beautiful - for lack of a better word. He jumps very high to shoot (much like Ravern Johnson), but he doesn't just sling it up there like Ravern did. In my opinion, his game is like Winzome Frazier. He may be one of the smaller 2-3 guards on our roster next year, but I think he will easily be the purest shooter when he steps on campus. I hope and truly believe he will succeed at Mississippi State, if he puts in the work that is required.
