Plot twist: Osama bin Laden was a big Cats fan
Yeah, until my health problems started I was planning a hike to Mt Everest Base Camp. Gorakshep is the last store/settlement before Everest Base Camp. Its about 4km to base camp and it sits right at 17000 feet elevation.
Folks leave things on the walls and all over about where they're from. I was going to take some stickers and memorabilia to post there.
Everest fascinates me. I have a small American flag that went up to the summit. Anyway, I think our beloved program needs to be represented there.

So whomever stayed there had 2 things on thier mind. Dinosaurs and Cats
Well, I think the dinosaur stickers reflect someone’s opinion of the state of the Indiana basketball program.
True story. Did a consulting job in Mexico several years ago at an auto plant. Walked in and first person I see was wearing a UK hat. He was there to fix a boiler. Wild.
He seemed more like a Louisville fan to be honest.
My wife and daughters are in Ireland right now. She told me the first night they were there eating dinner in an Irish pub, a man and his wife come in rocking Wildcat gear.
I'm fairly certain that Bin Laden had more in common with Kansas than Kentucky. Cause... reasons.
The weetabix story shows how big and dominant the UK fan base is. Weetabix is the number 1 selling cereal on Amazon.
Was driving from Copper Harbor to Houghton one afternoon, there was a truck following me that had a familiar plate on the front. I slowed down so he could pass, and could see it was a Kentucky Wildcats plate. I mouthed Go Big Blue with a thumbs up and he grinned and waved. Not Afghanistan, but still pretty unexpected, it's remote and unpopulated here.
I'll do this. I met a cats fan at 19.6k feet on another mountain. I saw the dude and just knew he was a cat. I was right
My wife and I were in the passport control line at Frankfurt airport today. She was wearing a UK hoodie. Someone else in the line saw and said “Go Cats!”
I was on a Mediterranean cruise during the 2015 season. A guy and his wife lost their bags on the way to the cruise so they were wearing the cruise line shirts and shorts the whole week. But they both had UK hats. 
Wind is far too strong. I'm not certain they allow that anyway.
You should. You'd win kinds of endorsements. I wasn't ever planning to climb either one.
Yeah I figured, just saying maybe take a quick picture of one and remove it! Put us up top.
That they do, pretty much everyone who summits. It would be cool to see that.

Never been anywhere in the US wearing KY gear that someone doesn’t say GO BIG BLUE. Went to Winnipeg walked in a store and the guy at the counter had a KY hat on
