My Rebel brethren said the stadium at B'ham is a total piece of ****. Said think of Jackson Memorial and you are close to the pile we will play in there. Still close to home and will be a good matchup with a team in Rutgers we haven't played much.

The city of Birmingham has put nothing into Legion Field.

It's a dump run by a city that is run by a bunch of idiots. Already bankrupt and they still want to try and build a new stadium. They need one, but they can't afford one and they can't afford to upgrade Legion Field either.

Lived in Birmingham most of my life (I'm 25 so not as long as many others) and it's been a dump for a long time. It wasn't a bad facility back in 1996 when it hosted events as a satellite location for the Olympics in Atlanta, but it hasn't been touched since then. It's in a bad part of town too. Just overall a bad location, but we will show up regardless because Birmingham is still our 2nd largest alumni base if I'm not mistaken. That will be a relatively low cost trip for most and we should get an easy victory.

It's a horrible, horrible stadium, but dammit 50% of our state lives in trailers. Who gives a ****?

I'm just happy the bowl is in a location with a very big alumni base, and it likely won't be a game against a 6-6 non-AQer. Hell, I'm just glad to be in a bowl. I'd play in that JUCO bowl at Biloxi High's stadium if it was that or nothing.
