Wow. I personally think that is a ridiculous stance taken by BC unless this guy has flirted with the NFL before while being the head coach at BC. But I want to say, he has only been HC for two seasons.

You interview for another job and your fired, and then you replace the guy with a washed up ex-HC in Steve Logan?

I mean, if the NFL WANTS your coach, that's a good thing right? Why can't these people understand that if you lose your coach because he's wanted, you probably are in a pretty good situation and thus more attractive to other good coaches. The days of having a coach for 25 years are over. It's just a constant carousel nowadays. If a coach stays 12 years, that's an eternity.

He was OC at Green Bay before he took the BC job. Had several other stops in the NFL before that. I actually think its a pretty good move by BC unless the guy's agent has a deal with the Jets before he goes in. Otherwise, the guy would have to think about the possibility of being unemployed if he didn't get the Jet's job. Makes him think long and hard before he interviews.
