Bcs bowls

Watching all the attention these teams get in the big bowls makes me wander how nice it's gonna be next year when OUR team is the one everybody is talking about. With the playoff system in, are we still gonna have the orange and the sugar bowls? I know they might not be as big but they still will be good.

Essentially, the playoff plus the "new" 3-5 times every 8 years tie-in with the Orange Bowl -- will mean that more often than not, the SEC is probably going to "bump up" bowls in the new structure.

It's conceivable that the Cap 1 Bowl could easily get the #5 SEC team in the future -- where it's guaranteed #3 at worst right now.
