The difference in me and you is I admit when I am wrong. Sure I gave Croom the benefit of the doubt last year and I have said I was wrong about him. When was the last time you ever admitted you were wrong about anything? They think Stans is great, but he can't get past the second round, and probably never will.
He can't coach big games, he can recruit players and teach defense during the week, but come game time, he has no clue..
Just like Croom will never get us in another bowl game...

I just don't think he will ever have better players than he has in the past.
If we would not have folded to UGA in the SEC tourney we would have gotten a better seed last year...
No excuse for that SEC Tourney loss...NONE.......

It was obvious from the start that we thought we would just cakewalk through that game by going through the motions. We got what we deserved.
I just think we've had a fair amount of bad draws in the NCAA tournament lately (Texas in Dallas and a Xavier team that was just about the hottest team in the country - remember they'd beaten #1 and undefeated St. Joe the week before and almost beat Duke to get to the Final Four that year).
Edited to add that I think you do have a point about the offense. But I also think that if Stans had done a better job of recruiting guards and small forwards who could shoot for ****, he'd suddenly become a better offensive coach. We've really only had a couple of good shooters since Super D back in 1996.
