This time of year, it's killing me not to have any premium recruiting service.

Scout is out of the question. I gave Rivals too much money for far too long (even though they are the main database that I use when looking up players). GP is unreadable anymore and Rivals had been so lame for the prior 2 or 3 years that it wasn't worth $10 a month.

Is BDJ just like Gene's and Rivals? Or is there anything about it (besides Heydog's column, mind you) that sets it apart?

It's not sheepish, the premium message board is civil but realistic. Wardlaw takes care of any subscription issues very quickly. So far I've been impressed with the recruiting coverage. I have a great feeling that Wardlaw gets better info because he's not annoying like Gene. No gripes at all about it from me. I also really like the Friday Flashback feature...

I like BDJ for the most part, but don't join it for just the recruiting database. It's narrow in scope (MSU recruits only) and poorly maintained. I don't even think it's premium content so you should be able to check it out for yourself.

Although I can't stand the sheep on the Scout site, Rosebowl actual does a damn good job keeping up with football and basketball recruiting. His recruiting "bones" keep me hitting the recruiting board every morning. Also, as douchey as Pron Fro is, I highly doubt anybody else has covered as much college baseball recruiting as he has in the last six months. He has written literally dozens of articles since the Cohen hire. It's like he's actually good for something.

What article does he write?

Sounds like he is still pretty soild, judging by his comments.
Turner and Smith being there also, tells me they will be here next year.

Actually, Arkansas had one Dick and two Nutts (like everyone else). That got them 10 wins.

Then they got greedy and decided they wanted two Dicks (like uscreb), and it led to only 8 wins.

Then they decided with two Dicks they no longer needed their Nutts, and it led to 5 wins.

Moral of the story: Don't trade your Nutts for an extra Dick.

Sad part for Arkansas is that this year they are losing both of their Dicks due to a Mallette. I'm guessing that hurt.
