Semi-hijack/related question...
I signed up probably 6 months ago when there was a promotion touting an MSU Adidas shirt, something about the Holdiay Inn Express, some other things I don't remember, etc. and I never heard anything else about it. How do these things normally work?

Can't use it through the week, and can't use it on a weekend when you'd want to.
I'm still trying to come up with a way to use/sell that thing. I understand the limitations, but damn, I'm not inclined to go to Starkville for a weekend get-away.
However, the shirt was top notch, and the gift certificate to the lodge was helpful. Those two alone were more than worth signing up.
I just chuckle about the free room.

JM...the room may not work on certain days, particularly football weekends. However they do work on basketball and baseball gamedays. There are some blackout dates.

...that being said, I'm sure that when I email Michael that I'd like to get the free room taken care of when I head up to Starkville for a conference (and it seems like there's one going on that I have to attend a couple times a year), it'll get taken care of.
Besides, I don't want to complain about it too much since I'm already raping the **** out you with a $200 lifetime, minus one $65 shirt and a $20 gift card.
If we can work it out where I can use it on a basketball or baseball weekend next year, that'd be great. Better than great really, I'd almost feel bad doing it.
