More heavy thunderstorms in the forecast for MS on Saturday....I'm sure Mistro or whatever weather guru you have on your local CBS affiliate will be sure to take up 7/8ths of your screen with weather maps, news bulletins, scrolling messages, and other such info that can be found on a half-dozen other channels simultaneously....

Those guy are waaaaaaaaay out of control. There can be a creek flooding in North West Tennessee and they will stop regular programming in order to jack-off with their high-tech toys. And I mean for hours and hours. It's one thing to save lives (put a small message at the bottom of the screen) and another to think everyone secretly wanted to be a meteorologist growing up. These guys crossed that line a long time ago.

These weather ***-clowns are out of control. You could pre-empt for 30 seconds then have a scroll and map in small corner of the screen, but not these mother *%+*%#%. They love being on TV and it is like their own little Super Bowl every time they get a chance on the air. It is beyond ridiculous.

childhood without the obviously necessary knowledge of what a hook echo is and why I should curl into the fetal position in my safe place every time one pops up on the radar.

Championship game. WEAR, Pensacola, was broadcasting the game.
Before the game started WEAR said that they would not interrupt the game in anyway, shape or form, UNLESS, there was a real likelyhood of death or injuries.
True to their word, they didn't do all the split-screen, interruption crap, and somehow we all survived.
