Beamer is predictably over his head

I posted this last night in the OU thread:

"Well ... I feel like the beamer experiment has yielded results. He's ineffectual as a coach. Time to move on. He's had enough time to hire good assistant coaches and he's proven he can't. He'll predictably get mad at the hard questions by Jack in the post game and complain about officiating, saying they need to look at film and coach better. He'll say they did some good things. It's a predictable pattern. As predictable as running up the middle at the worst possible times"

My prediction was accurate. He snapped at both David and Jack. Then he didn't even let Jack ask a second question he just said, "Next question!". Then he proceeded to go on a Dabo-like rant about what gives him hope. That we "practice well". He doesn't seem to be able to actually answer any questions. He's just living inside this La La Land that our team can actually be competitive with incompetent play calling and poor coaching.

My NEXT prediction is that at the end of next season he'll be let go with one possible caveat: if he hires a competent proven offensive coordinator who is able to score some points, he'll be given the year after that. By then, maybe some young up-and-coming coach will be willing to take a crappy job like ours.

Shane has already pointed out the obvious to everyone else, but he doesn't seem to have seen it in his own coaching, which is that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Hiring incompetent offensive coordinators over and over and expecting this offense to be able to score points is the definition of insanity. He's too prideful, but the best thing he could do would be to resign like Spurrier did because he just doesn't have anything in the tank anymore.

I don't think anyone would be coming after Shane to be another head coach since he has had no other head coaching or coordinator experience. He has nothing on his resume to show that he is a competent coach in any aspect of the game beyond recruiting.
