Someone else said this but I think it would make a good thread. No emotion, and take into consideration who we are in the hierarchy of CFB regarding resources, in-state HS talent, schedule, etc:

Pros:
- He has the personality modern players like
- He has gotten some big hits in the portal, like Rocket, Kennard, etc etc and thats more important than HS recruiting now
- The team plays hard, they rarely show up w low energy
- DEFENSE has been pretty consistent and solid, even really good. Id rather lose close low scoring games than close ones where we score 45 and lose anyway
- Special teams has been pretty good

CONS:
- Offense is a disaster especially O line. Whatever is happening its not working. LSU just blatantly disrespected our ability to pass block
- Injury bug. WTF. Muschamp suffered the same injury curse at USC. If Sellers doesnt go down, we beat LSU and make the playoffs last yeat, and honestly probably pull out a close win over Vandy this year and sit at 4-2 w 2 close road losses to ranked teams so not all that bad

Final grade? Considering we are a relatively poor state, with above average but not elite HS talent to recruit, a brutal schedule, but great facilities……Id say a B- minus. I add the minus mostly bc the OL is so bad. Thats the most glaring area thats just not acceptable relative to our realiry6

Muschamp won 6 games his last two seasons here before getting canned. Sadly, I could see around that many wins for Shane over this season and next if Sellers and Stewart leave. This season is a major letdown. I would give Shane an overall C in five seasons. After last season it was a higher grade obviously. The offense is painful to watch right now-one step forward and two steps back. The lack of offense and O-line struggles though ultimately fall on Beamer-he recruited the players and hired the coaches. I'm not seeing overall progression in year 5. If we're okay with regular regression, missing bowl games and occasional mediocre win seasons to gloat about then we should have kept Muschamp. We can also thank Ray for pushing the football program back 10+ years and counting.

He's stubborn as a mule. When you need a new OC why would you look first at your QC staff rather than conduct a nationwide search? That is a lazy way out. Unfortunately, Tanner once again saddled us with a huge buyout. I see no way we will make a HC change even if Beamer brings Teasley and Shula back next year.
