I’d imagine that was pretty wild for people that live in that area. I have then in my yard all the time. Dad built me a dumpster but they still come sniff around and try to get in. Old lady fried up some bacon a couple weeks ago and one tried to get in the house.
The way things are going I'd say that's about right. I wouldn't be shocked to turn on the news and see a volcano erupt in Beattyville at this point.

Since Cumberland Gap National Park closed, bear sightings in this area exploded. Neighbor across the street saw one yesterday he estimated weighed around 300 pounds. Lots and lots of white tail deer out now, too. I saw 4 yesterday afternoon.
Some time back one fell out of my neighbors pine tree. Landed on a loquat tree, crushed it and man oh man was my neighbor mad.
