Recruiting? Do their alumni double their efforts over last year? Do they lay low b/c of last year?

..Put it this way: MSU's recruiting is already 70% finished. OM will be starting from scratch.

OM will have to hold the players they have committed, which will be impossible after the new coach doesn't feed them the ******** Nutt fed them.

Even given the best case scenario, this OM class will be like a typical Croom class: Full of Troy & Austin Peay rejects.

Maybe the new coach will go heavy with the JUCO's. Good luck rolling that dice.

So while I agree it will be an uphill battle to keep it together (and who knows with all the misevaluations if we even want to keep it together) that is not always the case. I think as far as the instate rivalry goes, this a a good year for a coaching change in terms of instate recruiting bc I dont see State getting a big leg up with thisbeing adown year for in state talent.

..Croom had some quality recruits lined up for that class & Mullen kept most of them.

Plus I think Mullen is the reason Chad Bumphis committed to that class.
