Bbbbut they swept Bama, by damn.

They have the best atmosphere and stadium in the nation! How could they lose to lowly Memphis twice this season?

That would be twice they've lost to Memphis this year.

They gave them their first loss of the year. But Memphis is actually playing well. They are 22-14.

But I think I would prefer OM to win this game. Hurts their RPI and in the grand scheme of things a win over Memphis doesn't make them look any better than us in terms of regional host potential. They needed to win this game for RPI purposes, and really in the end, we will be measured against them based on our weekend series against them. Losing to Memphis does nothing but hurt their RPI, which in turn hurts our RPI. Dumb midweek loss for them.

Ole Miss will not host a regional. Not with Kentucky, Arkansas, and us having better seasons, and with our RPI and SOS it doesn't matter what happens with Ole Miss.

I think they will lose to Southern Miss TTT, tomorrow too. The Buzzards have been playing well the last few weeks, and are fresh off of a sweep of some CUSA team.

Plus, Ole Miss is out of pitching because they idiotically rescehduled tonight's Memphis game for a Monday? How dumb. Now they will play 5 in a row, and 12 games in like 15 or 16 days. That's tough for any team, much less one with pitching depth issues.

Luckily for them, they do not play a ranked team in that stretch until Kentucky not this weekend but next.

Don't think you will find too many Rebels, other than the blindest homer, who are happy with our baseball coach and direction our program is going.

Which is hilarious. If you guys fired Bianco, you'd be a .500 team. Just like anyone who fires a good coach. I honestly cannot believe the venom spewed about that man, it is utterly ridiculous.

I'll give you that, what is the problem? I know he missed on several recruits

not showing up for school, is that the issue?

Bianco, to me, is a more successful Rick Stansbury. He is going to consistently get you into the tourney but after that - he just doesn't seem to get you to the next level. To me, as long as he makes a regional - you can't fire him.

Lately its been his inability to improve our hitting.

We get enough talent year in year out to be better than a middle of the pack SEC team but our players don't seem to improve hitting the ball. He tends to leave pitchers in too long and only take them out after they get rocked too.

The guy makes over 600k. He is not earning his money. I would guess that.....

puts him pretty high on the college baseball coach pay scale.
