Bears Should Have Kept Kyle Orton

He had made some stupid throws this season but his receivers have gotten him into a lot of trouble in most of those situations. He needs a couple of veteran wideouts, the only real vet his has is Olsen and they don't leave him uncovered much. Doesn't help that Forte is sucking it up this season either. I look for the Bears to make several moves on offense in the off season.

Orton came into a better situation than Cutler. Cutler has a tendency to force the ball too much. Orton just sucks...he has undoubtedly the weakest arm in the NFL.

how many average to terrible QB's there are in the NFL. There are very few good QB's these days.

Orton doesn't have 1/10 the natural talent that Cutler does, but I'd still take him over Cutler in a heartbeat.</p>

I can't remember ever seeing this much disparity in the NFL. It's almost as much as in the college game.

Cutler has a ****** offense line, a lack of consistency and talent at wide out and a running back suffering the sophomore slump. He's trying to do the best he can, but I don't think anybody but Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, or Tom Brady could thrive under those conditions. That and the defense isn't what it used to be.

Without getting into who is in a worse situation, its funny that when Cutler was traded, everyone said what a terrible situation he was in in Denver and how he was going to a better one in Chicago. Now that Cutler continues to throw a ton of interceptions and still be average, people are saying Orton went to the better situation. I've never seen more excuses made for a QB who has accomplished less than Cutler.

It would have been a helluva lot more exciting to watch, but they wouldn't be 6-2.

However, Orton is very limited and the last two games have shown that. He can't throw deep (and the coaches know that) and struggles without an effective running game.

Again, Denver has already won 6 games this year. That is as many as the most optimistic experts were predicting. I'm afraid we'll struggle to get to 10 wins from here on out.

is because most people thought that the Bear's offense was bad because of Orton. I think that now we see that it was a combination of Orton sucking, there being no consistent WR play and the O line is pretty terrible.

Cutler played like absolute **** last night, but at least two of those interceptions are on the wide outs. The other three were on him trying to make things happen that weren't there.

I've never been that impressed with Cutler, but I will always think Orton sucks.
