They have great turf at Lake Forest.I know they are all pushing for the same type of field turf they used for the World Cup
That was real grass not field turf, which is what players want but owners are too cheap.I know they are all pushing for the same type of field turf they used for the World Cup

When you have to resort to Sheduer Sanders to fill your roster of a Flag Football game it's time to call it quits. Being named All Pro is all players care about. But since most of these players have being named to the Pro Bowl as bonuses in their contract they will still be named a "Pro Bowl" player and invited to a celebration that I'm sure most won't attend.A positive note for everyone, no more Pro Bowl game!
I think we can all agree, it became a joke. Wish we could go back to the good old days.A positive note for everyone, no more Pro Bowl game!
What does this have to do with EDGE upgrade? They got a nickel in return, which is also a need. They know better then us I guess but the entire Bear Nation has been begging and praying for an Edge upgrade since last season....Free Agency nothing, Draft nothing, Trade nothing, even a late Edge signing out of the scrap heap? Nothing.....Dennis Allen must be very particular on who he has playing Edge or like that Booker is going to blow it up this season
IMO and I'm not alone here, Edge has been a more pressing need and if a trade was going to be made I was hoping for someone that the Falcons fanbase aren't too upset to see go. They've done nothing to upgrade a major need....but they know more then me so wait and seeWhat does this have to do with EDGE upgrade? They got a nickel in return, which is also a need.
I am not in disagreement that EDGE is a need or however you want to phrase it.IMO and I'm not alone here, Edge has been a more pressing need and if a trade was going to be made I was hoping for someone that the Falcons fanbase aren't too upset to see go. If it's like last year they can hold it together on the D line but the secondary got killed with injuries this preseason.IMO and I'm not alone here, Edge has been a more pressing need and if a trade was going to be made I was hoping for someone that the Falcons fanbase aren't too upset to see go. Ya, I'm going to 100% disagree with you on that one.If Caleb ever goes down - Bagent ain’t giving the spot back
I know….I’m a huge Bagent fan and think Chicago would love him as their leader. Love his game.Ya, I'm going to 100% disagree with you on that one.
Why would they love him as their leader? Pretty sure Williams is pretty universally loved in Chicago and those that don't I assume have some reasons that are more about them than Williams.I know….I’m a huge Bagent fan and think Chicago would love him as their leader. Love his game.
I know he’ll never get a shot unless Caleb gets hurt.
However, I like the idea as Bagent as the starter and what we could get for Caleb and save bc Caleb’s going to demand a record contract.
Oh well…it’ll never happen.
Because he’s a blue collar guy who came from nothing and is tough as nails. He plays with his heart on his sleeve. He picked up the offense very quickly. Hes a GREAT teammate. He does youth camps across Chicagoland in the summer. He’s constantly doing interviews. His speech when he got extended last year. He has the IT factor. He’s the underdog. He won two games as a rookie when only a year earlier he was playing D2 ball. The moment is never too big for him. Etc…Why would they love him as their leader? Pretty sure Williams is pretty universally loved in Chicago and those that don't I assume have some reasons that are more about them than Williams.
He shouldn't play unless Caleb gets hurt, he is not as good and it is not close.
The Bears get a "franchise QB" and you want to trade him? That is life in the NFL when you have a franchise QB...you know the thing the Bears have been striving to get for my entire lifetime at least? Caleb doesn't put the ball in harms way very often, he makes throws only a handful of QBs can make, he has proven multiple times he can lead a team back in the 4th quarter, he has a pretty dynamic personality in a great way and what his main downfall is needing to improve on the gimmies.....Ya I'm taking that and not looking at my back up that hasn't done anything in any meaningful game ever in the NFL.
And thank god it will not happen.
For the record, I think Bagent looks to be a very solid back up and certainly is an asset to this team in that regard. I thought we were done with this ridiculous Bagent v Williams discussion and have moved on to discussions on other parts of the roster...ooooof.
IF Caleb ever misses a game you willFair enough, your opinion is your opinion...I will never understand it.
He has started beforeIF Caleb ever misses a game you will![]()
When Caleb misses a game, we will see Bagent and I hope he performs as you think. Then, when Caleb is heathy, he will have a hat on.IF Caleb ever misses a game you will![]()
Seems like they're creating an emergency fund for when the next injuries hit.Bears restructured Thuney, Odeyingbo and Edwards, creating $17M in 2026 space.
Meh, it's week 1, don't buy into all the media overreactions. The 49ers/Rams game was in Australia so I wouldn't put too much stock into that game.Interesting start to the season. Low scoring out in Seattle and the 49ers kicked the Rams' butts. I don't see the Bears winning more than 10 games. Defense has issues.
No doubt. I’m guessing the Rams may be rethinking their travel approach.Meh, it's week 1, don't buy into all the media overreactions. The 49ers/Rams game was in Australia so I wouldn't put too much stock into that game.
You can't just throw NFL games away and say Meh. There aren't enough of them to do that. Every game counts regardless of where it's played.Meh, it's week 1, don't buy into all the media overreactions. The 49ers/Rams game was in Australia so I wouldn't put too much stock into that game.
What he said.Agree every game counts.
But I wouldn't take much from a week 1 result in terms of how good/bad a team is going to be the rest of the season. That's the point.
