Here 'ya go, you sonofabitch....

Frankie Luster had two of Shane Matthews' career-high five interceptions and Mississippi State's defense held No. 13 Florida to 53 yards rushing as the No. 24 Bulldogs defeated the Gators, 30-6, Thursday night. The Bulldogs (3-1, 1-1 in the Southeastern Conference) yielded only two first-half field goals, and permitted the Gators (1-2, 1-2) to cross the 50-yard line twice in the second half. Luster's first interception came after the Gators had driven to the Bulldog two-yard line in the first quarter. On third and goal, Luster stepped in front of Matthews' screen pass and returned it to the Florida 49.

I remember it like it was yesterday. We were decking the halls for homecoming my Sr. year. The TVs, which heretofore had only broadcast Channel One morning news featuring a baby-faced and not-yet-gray Anderson Cooper and Lisa Ling, were switched to ESPN for the night. Didn't do much decorating that night. Did do some partying afterwards, though.

Bill Clay was the DC then. We had a helluva of a staff back then and players. That team should have done better than 7-5.

Anyway, speaking of that night......I still remember it to. Partied until the wee-hours of the night and crashed on my buddies couch at College Station. Got up and went to work at 7am the next day with a ridiculous hangover. </p>
