When do we get away from the point of players just not delivering and doing what they are asked to do in a game? You're working with one game of data here.Tre Wallace also having another big game.
When do we get to the point where we stop blaming the players and start looking at the system and coaching?

A brilliant ruse.I have no doubt that Allar was coached to be tentative and throw off his back foot against fiu.
A brilliant ruse.
It’s universal in college and the professional levels that the least popular player on the team is the starting QB!This is a major step for this board - used to be, the 2nd string QB was the favorite - now it's the QB of another team.
He always appeared to be a real competitor. I think he will do well vs SEC competition as well.Maxwell national player of the week..... Pennlive reports....

Good for him. Highlight of his career I'm sure. The Maxwell national player of the week is an honor that @KingLando aka Loado Commodo, can never take away. LOL...
Of all the college football players, one one player gets it.
But the top coaches would figure out a way to get him to knock that off by his senior year.I have no doubt that Allar was coached to be tentative and throw off his back foot against fiu.

But we would have had a lot more NIL money to spread around!Had the decision gone the other way and Beau stayed while Drew left, Drew would now be the guy we shouldn't have let get away.
Against teams like KansasAnd could be many more..............

It's honestly pathetic how in love with him you are
It's not...you only post about me and Beau...its an obsessionLOL... Yeah, I'm "in love with him."
This is why you are a joke.

He ran a lot in his role, in the Penn State offense. But he is not a limited arm in college football. People will say he doesn't have "an NFL arm", which is debatable and not necessary to win in college.Good for Beau, obviously someone over there (or just Beau on his own) has really put some work in to improve his arm strength and accuracy. Watching him here at PSU, both in games and at an occasional practice he did not have the arm strength or accuracy needed to make the big throws. He was definitely a run first QB, but wasn't even as good of a thrower as Trace and we should all agree he had average arm strength and accuracy. Like Trace though, he appears to be a gamer and able to make plays when needed.
Possible Beau decides to return to State College next year??Anyone watching Beau ?? Oh my.
Watching throws from this year to when I saw him in practice in 2024, he has a stronger arm now. So far he has been more accurate than I saw then as well. It is possible he had a bad day, but nothing in the games led me to believe he had the accuracy to deserve to play more than he did either. He ran a lot in his role, in the Penn State offense. He played very well at Penn State, as a backup, better than several of our starters. I've seen him make several big time throws. He played well in the Wisconsin game, and the Purdue game. And he had that TD in the Peach Bowl to keep us in it. Hope he continues to do well.
