I think we'll ride Dixon the entire game. No matter how you slice it up, that loss for Kentucky last week was bad and it'll be tough for them to get up for little ole MSU. I say we win the game in a close, low scoring game. Kentucky not having Lyons (top WR) and their top RB will hurt them for sure. Their defense is pretty good on the lines, but their offense is damn near as bad as ours. Match-up wise, this is basically the Vandy game all over again.

I wanted to say we would get beat, & the why being Croom, but in all honesty, we need to win, & the bigger picture being that Croom gains an understanding that his position w/ MSU is not being head of a social orginization for his buddies, rather it is about nim being a head coach, & making the tough decisions that have to be made at that time (& not 2 years to late). If Croom wants to be a SEC head coach, he is going to have to humble his *** some, & realize that winning is the only thing that matters..........& that being said, I think he has had a more than patient fanbase.

why should i pick us to win....we only beat a Sunbelt team last weekend.....have we beaten anybody worth a ****??? Dont say vandy, because they might not win another game this year.....</p>
by saying Crooms sux, but that SunBelt team almost beat UK (hail mary stopped at about the UK 1 foot line as I recall). As Woody Hays say, "Whom have they beat?" Louisville, UPig, & MTSU (the other two really suck).

I don't think Croom is the right coach for the job, but i believe that a win over kentucky and one more win will be somewhat acceptable due to how this season started. No extensions will be given after this year and a little more of the buyout will be chopped off. A 5-7 season will likely keep this recruiting class together and at least give people SOMETHING to look forward to next year. If by some miracle we win six games, I will have met my goal for this football season, which is going to any bowl.

Beating KY still gives us a shot at a bowl game. Since we are MSTATE, we'll lose thus guaranteeing a warm seat by the fireplace this bowl season. Knowing our luck, Ole Miss will then beat Auburn and clinch a bowl birth against us in the Egg Bowl.</p>
