If u are jonesing like me, there are tons of games in entirety on youtube from the past to fill the void. '92 WWS v JC for example. MC v Maine S 95; although cant watch the end I break stuff. even JC R-B 01 is on it.

I'd give my right arm to watch either 88 MC v SR or 89 MC v SR.

I did find (on youtube) some of the 91 game between MC and JCA, which was incredibly enjoyable

just go on youtube in the search bar put IHSA football and tons of games come up. I might watch Maine S LWE 05 later that was an awesome game.

SR was not as strong in 90-91 as they were the prior 2 years. But those 90 and 91 MC teams were as good as any I've ever seen. McGrew was so damn efficient yet also an explosive playmaker. Those defenses at MC those years were about as dominating as I've ever seen.

Dean, I know your Caravan guys have a different take, but I still smile thinking about my Mustangs standing up to and fighting MC in 90. I know there are 2 sides to every story, but they got in the way of a sacred ritual of touching that plaque at old Cronin Field.

Anyway, have a nice New Year's Dean and always enjoy your takes and incredibly knowledge of MC sports.

When are they going to put the Morris/JCA game with Dergo on YouTube?

This is the one all the current high school kids are wondering who is this legendary Dergo guy? It would be nice to show them the game.

MC '90 I put as their 2nd best all-time modern era. Manhandled Moeller giving them only regular season loss in the opener. '91 they lost a senior class that had 1 loss over 4 years. They were gutted brought back only 4 starters. Backfield had a junior and 2 sophs. Took a while to get things going started 0-2. Then won 5A winning 12 in a row. That 91 5A title is on youtube vs Wheaton Central . McGrew has a terrible game though throws 4 interceptions. The defense won that game.

there are highlights from the game on youtube. He also intercepts pass last play of game.
