Before the season I didn't expect much from this team

I knew we'd miss Gordon and Rhodes. In fact, I argued with many that said we really wouldn't miss Gordon that much. But my goodness this is terrible. We had a worse record in 2006 but at least we had the excuse of losing our entire roster the year before to graduation and were coming off 4 straight NCAAs. I can't remember a Stansbury coached team that defended and rebounded as poorly as this one. I hope Stansbury can stop the attrition this offseason or we can expect more of the same in the coming years. Losing players every year that you have no business losing eventually leads to this, and it sucks. Stick a fork in this team, they are done.

That coaches have a certain life span and for whatever reason, be it complacency or refusing to make necessary changes in their program or something else, that once that life span is over they just lose their winning touch and at that point will not get it back. Whoever that was, I agree with them. I like Stans, even for all of his coaching shortfalls and postseason disappointments, and he has done a good job. But this program is nothing like it was from 2002-2005. Making it to only 1 out of the past 4 NCAA tournaments is not good enough, and missing it again next year is enough for us to look for someone else.

a coaches life span is about 10 years. Of course, there are exceptions but it's true. Things get stale.

i heard him earlier this year slamming extremedog...practically licking bury's balls. now, he changes his tune? what a cock. and why the hell reference him for a statement like, 'coaches have 10-year shelf life'. that's a f'n headline!! its not rocket science.

When you start, you have your coach supporters on the left, and your coach haters on the right, and a whole lot of on the fence folks in the middle. Once those decide, it's over.
