Saw it hit Twitter from rivals. He gets a Husker offer doesn't he? Kid tore up Class A last few years.

That rumor has been floating around for a few days that he would qualify. Wouldn't surprise me if he did get a late offer.

Hope it's the case for the kid.
Would be a nice fallback for NU if things don't work out for some other targets. Would expect Wyoming, Iowa, and KSU to make a hard play for him as well.

Yes, he will get an offer. Pretty sure if he gets an offer he will commit. Hopefully they get him and another RB. If they get just him I will be disappointed.

Much better offensive player than Okafor and Horne.

Now if Horne would have played defense back then...well all bets are off. He was legit on that side of the ball.

I clocked him covering the 90 yard scamper in his first Rivals highlight TD in just over 10 seconds.

Just my opinion and maybe I'm forgetting somebody but I believe Bradley to be the best running back I can remember coming out of Nebraska in a decade.

Would he be a somewhat more highly regarded recruit if he were in Texas, CA or FL?

Would he still make the competition look silly if he were in Texas, California, or Florida?
That's what I'm getting at. When he is just so much better than the other kids on the field it's hard to judge.

You mean if he played multiple games against a bunch of other P5 players?

If so. I agree. He could have be ranked higher. Or he could have been just another running back from one of those states.

I also believe he would have been rated higher if there wasn't academic concerns.

That being said, I like his Hudl tape, he has nice vision, very good quickness and is decisive.

Him and Felix or Verdell would be a nice class of RBs

Right now they have zero backs committed. Are they working for any out of state kids? What's the word on the plans to offer this kid? Were they waiting for him to qualify?

He will get his Husker IF DL is satisfied that he can pass block and catch passes out of the backfield.

Calvin Strong was really good, but Bradley is 6' something, 200lbs, rather than 5'9" 170. Bradley definitely looks the part of a D1 athlete. Saw him wrestle last year, and he looked like a grown man out there. Wish the best for him.

Horne was a monster, if it wasn't for off the field issues he would have made it to the league.

If they really like him...they better not slow play him.
Good point. My opinion is probably in the minority on this board, but I think there's been a couple kids each year that have been better, much better, than out of state recruits that have gotten offers. At this point, I'm ready to assume that Bradley is better than any other back we're looking at other than Stephen Carr.

Yes they were waiting on qualification. I believe he will be offered quickly. Yes they are recruiting out of state kids.

When did grades become part of the rating process? That would complicate the process to now include GPA in core subjects along with athletic ability. If you say he might have been recruited stronger by schools because of his academics, I maybe could buy that but most schools will go with you if they think you have any chance of qualifying.

If the guys doing the evaluations are told the player is a huge risk to not qualify, there is a good chance they don't get anything more than a cursory eval. Rivals is the one of the few that have him rated above a 2 star. Anyone can look at his games and realize he is better than a 2 star.

How do you not give him an offer. An instate kid that is very good and WANTS to play FOR Nebraska not just AT Nebraska. I will lose respect for this staff if they dont offer him. I would hate to see him have a career day against Nebraska if he were to go somewhere that plays us.

So you know "the guys" and they are certain he and others are a "huge risk"? All pure speculation and I dont buy what you are selling. Did he camp anywhere where he was tested and evaluated? His film looks good for what is shown, did not see a lot of evidence of strength, power, balance and his hands. So I guess I am not "anyone" or does that mean he is 2* and his qualifying now makes him a 3*. So should we question the rating of all recruits now? So no one has offered the kid up till now? All grades? I dont know, but I will trust the coaches on this one.

I don't care what you buy because I'm not selling anything.

Fact- best player on the best team in the state has one offer from South Dakota St

Fact - player openly celebrates getting a high enough test score on standard entrance exam to become eligible - that means before that result, he did not have said score.

Fact - Nebraska will offer now that he has that score.

Fact - watch Scout/ 247/ ESPN rankings and player will all of a sudden have an evaluation addressing strengths and weaknesses.

While its hard to judge speed against the other kids on the field and there isn't a lot on the tape to see what kind of power runner he might be, what stands out to me is there is no hesitation hitting holes. He goes to the hole he is supposed to be hitting, and goes there in a hurry. The lineman can trust that if I get this block he is coming right off my back side. The other thing I notice is his vision. The stop and go, the cutbacks, the use of down field blockers, setting up the defender with a move to make the downfield block more effective, knowing when and where to cut or when to just split two defenders is an innate ability that our current backs don't seem to have. Those are the differences between a ten to fifteen yard run and taking it to the house. Yards after contact is something that can be developed with weight training and experience. The vision and feel for when and where to go are something a player has or doesn't have.

Would love to have this kid at Nebraska!!! Give him a redshirt year and I think he could turn into something special here.
