I continue to believe this guy is a major asset to the program who has a future so bright that you should put on sunglasses when looking at it.

Let's face it...Laviano is not the most talented qb on the field most weeks. He's not even the most talented qb on his team. But he is presumably the best at executing the offense, and despite the lack of eye popping talent, he merely leads the Big 10 in qb efficiency.

Today is yet another example of how important McDaniels could be to the future for Rutgers. Most people assume he'slooking for the nfl gig, but RU needs to keep him around.

Unfortunately if his brother gets another HC job he's probably taking Ben with him.

He's got this offense working now. This is two straight weeks where we've seen some real good play. His play calling has been excellent. The last two weeks nice mix of run and pass. This is the bright side of RU football, the other side is more like the dark side. Think he stays around for at least another year maybe two. If he keeps the offense going in the right direction his star might be to bright for RU to retain him.

a lot of fans complained about Laviano, offensive play calling etc....

our offense got us 48 points this game, right?....48 I think....

any complaints about how the team did should have been directed at the defense....

under normal circumstances 48 points on offense, a turnover adding 7 more, should have us on the way to a comfortable blowout.

He'd be silly to leave us for the NFL As anything below OC is a downgrade. He will be with us until he gets a non P5 HC Gig or he gets fired. At that time he goes back to NFL as QB coach.

I hope he is here for years to come if the offense purrs on all cylinders. When the B1G $$s roll in anything is possible.
We need stability in our coaching staff.... Enough already with the musical chairs.

Everyone knows I am not one of the people who claims the sky is some color other than blue, but even I will admit that flood needs to get himself a DC who might right this ship. Otherwise he's going to lose his job because of it. CanT go out and give up 40 points per game.

This is a must. A lot of miscommunication by our defense. That's on the coach

Wait, I'm still confused. Didn't people want to fire McDaniels after the PSU game (I think after Kansas as well)? Now he's a Rock Star?
