Ready to shut it down. Per the folks over on 24/7. Also being reported that Kivon Coman essentially had to send the same reporter a Cease and Desist text to stop reporting incorrect information about his planned visits, intentions, commitment status etc... Seems like Mr Porter may be driving them into the boat early in our favor!

They are both terrible and they both play their subscribers by teasing info about the other one. Half the threads started on GP start like "Gene, Yancy says this..." and on Spirit they start like :Yancy, I have a questions. I heard Gene said..."

24/7 might not be as big a network as Scout or Rivals but it's way drama free. Although there are a few who have to report on Yancy daily. Paul does a good job of addressing the rumors, ignoring them, and/or squashing them.

I agree, Paul is doing a great job with that site. I'd also like to add, even though some on this site will give me a ration of ****, BDJ is doing a really good job too. I hate the failed merger took place because the original BDJ was great.

The problem is thatBeniquez was ready to announce early this week, but Kivon tweeted it and Steve posted essentially stealing the kids thunder. That's the second time Rosebowl has done that. Both time Beniquez decided to hold off. Now it's happened again. Rosebowl has been saying for over a month "any day now." Hell, eventually he has to be right. And yes, Beniquez will commit to State.</p>

Rosebowl explained article http://mississippistate.scout.com/2/13825.html

This weeks recruiting article from Rosebowl. http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1149229.html

The thing that makes this a recruiting article is the fact that it isn't an interview. It doesn't have one quote in the whole article.

It also has these gems:

<span class="storybody"></span>
<span class="storybody">With three quarterbacks scheduled to ink with the Rebels as part of the 2012 signing class (Bo Wallace, C.J. Beathard and Maikhail Miller),
it <span style="font-weight: bold;">will be interesting to see if Liggins is part of the quarterback
race or if he would make the move to another position should be elect to
stay in Oxford.</span></span>
<span class="storybody">

</p>
Liggins reports that he spent time with Head coach Dan Mullen and
Quarterbacks' coach Les Koenning watching film of the Bulldog offense
and that <span style="font-weight: bold;">the staff there sees him as a quarterback in their system</span>.</p>

Some other quarterbacks have resurfaced on the recruiting radar late in the process, Nick Schuessler and Steven Bench, but neither have an offer from Mississippi State.</p>

Liggins does and it may be a situation in Starkville where it is Liggins
or bust. The Oxford native was told over the weekend that he is the top
name on the board at quarterback.</p>

</p></span>
Yancy tries to recruit too. So this isn't one of those types of replies.

<p roundtrip="0" lastvisited="4">From a review: This chapter examines the character Henry Wingo. In the beginning Tom tells us that his life did not really begin until he forgave his father. Tom remembers how Henry had many schemes to make money, and how all failed. Savannah called it the “Sadim Touch.” His profession, shrimping, was always a “temporary” job to him. Henry’s boat, the <i roundtrip="0" lastvisited="0">Miss [/i]<i roundtrip="0" lastvisited="0">Lila[/i]<i roundtrip="0" lastvisited="0">, [/i]was equipped to catch a lot of shrimp; Henry was good at shrimping.

And to make this about sports, Pat Conroy was basketball team captain at The Citadel and his nephew is the current Head Basketball Coach at Tulane.</p>
