Love his toughness and ability to pick up yards after being hit. He and Boom should be our two feature backs going forward, getting the overwhelming majority of snaps. It's been forever since we've had someone like Snell at tailback. This is an SEC caliber back.

It's great to see a young guy playing with heart and passion.
I hear ya. We've got some weapons out there and could make some noise with good coaching. I think Eddie Gran can get it done. But Stoops and the defense, oh boy.
Snell has been great. Actually fun watching the offense today.
The Defense just simply sucks.. DL... LBs... and the secondary was over hyped. Pure pile of ****.

I believe he is just a freshman and has played in all three games and appears that he will play in many more.
He looked great because who he was playing. Realty settles in next week and moving forward, I think we win 1 more game.
You just can't win no matter what with some of our fans. We all know New Mexico state is no power house football program. Its still awesome to see such a young kid go out there and play hard. When a kid plays hard, it doesn't matter who he is playing against. Might not look as great, but still playing hard every moment of the game isn't something as easy to teach as some of you think it Is. The truth is when we get a bunch of these talented young kids that play hard every game, the results in the win/loss department. Looking good against nobody u is always better than looking average against the same school.
UK has played plenty of New Mexico Sts. thru the yrs yet no UK team ever put up damn near 700 yds of total offense and no UK RB has ever rushed for more than 4 tds v them.
I think this team turned a corner offensively today with Johnson, Snell and Conrad.
The D is another story although UK did outscore NMS 27-7 in the 2nd half.
We may look back at the 2nd half v NMS today as the starting pt to a Bowl run.

I love how angry he ran. Hopefully he runs that hard against SEC defenses, then we'll be onto something.
