With all the negativity going around, thought the true freshman at least deserves some credit. He looked very impressive on numerous runs, especially the 5 yd td where he drug about 7 guys in with him. Hopefully he and boom can continue to be a good 1-2 punch. Along with Johnson keeping defenses guessing I think we may have something there. Now if our entire defense can only have a miraculous turnaround..

Looked real good. Listed at 220. Runs with an attitude. Wonder if he or Boom can catch it out if the backfield? Like to add some swing passes

We've got a really good thing going using Boom between the 20s and bringing in Snell in the red zone. He's the exact type of guy you want in that situation.

I agree...we really struggled to get short yards last year...I hope we use Snell as that true pounder for the tough yards

He looks like a Bama or LSU type of RB that just runs people over. Glad we have one like that for once.

Yeah i KNOW Horton wasn't getting job done at all. Snell way better of a back IMO.

That young man is an outstanding talent. I said in another thread that Boom and Snell have to be one of the top 15 running back combos in the nation once he gets little more experience.

Boom and a "Snell's pace" was fun to watch in the last game. And we had a BIG Johnson game.

Edit: Special teams also rose to life with Charles Walker. They were a walking dead.
