Worst: Suzanne Summers replaced by Jenilee Harrison on Three's Company. They canned her after one season. Jenilee had a great figure but wasn't funny. Execs thought any hot blonde would work.
Best: Replacing Shelley Long on Cheers. Annoying average chick replaced by a hot one who was still funny.
Solid pick for Cheers, Rebecca was much more enjoyable and funny compared to Diane. I'll go one further and say Woody over Coach, although that may not be fair since the Actor who played Coach died.
Jennilee looked pretty damn good in the James Garner flick Tank.
Donna Reed couldn't speak jive nor did Ward get near her beaver (unlike Barbara Billingsley). However, she did have a Wonderful Life with George Bailey.
Surely some of you had to watch a certain Soap to appease your gal. I'll take version 2.0, although all were pretty good.

Newhart had two of the best. Julia Duffy as Stephanie was a big improvement from Jennifer Holmes as Leslie. The same with Peter Scolari as Michael replacing Steven Kampmann as Kirk Devane.

I've never seen anything this incorrect. My pubescent eyes witnessed the movie Saturn 3, and I rewound the shower scene so many times I was afraid I would ruin the rental tape. The only thing that even comes close was Morgan Fairchild popping her boobs out in a hot tub in that sucky movie with the gay Hardy boy.

(the replacements for the mayor and Floyd were improvements though)
I also watched a little Dukes of Hazard as a kid
I think BOTH of the Duke boys were replaced at one point?
Maybe just Bo and Enis as the Deputy?
