Best case scenario...

OM loses a heartbreaker here, their fans run their mouths all week about their moral victories versus common opponents Bama, aTm, and LSU, then we go into Oxford and kick their asses aGAIN, and keep them home for the holidays.

Actually, OM can win...

As long as we beat them next week. Then, LSU can lose to Arky next week and we'll be 3rd in the west. If you are talking best case, that is...

Yeah... that's honestly one of the main reasons I'm indifferent as to how this game goes. There's so many uncertainties for next week that it's hard for me to say right now what should happen... Plus, I have a hard time cheering for Ole Miss in anything.

Eh, LSU ain't losing to Arkansas, and besides...

I'd find it more satisfying to be the team to keep OM out of a bowl than to finish 3rd in the West versus 4th. I don't really care so much about our final place in the West standings if we don't win it.

Part one is definitely in play. If Les doesn't screw it up in the last 49 seconds.

I agree... I was simply stating best case scenario.

An 8-4 LSU team will be more attractive, even if we are 9-3 for bowl placement. They have a history and a fan base we don't have. BUT... to finish ahead of LSU for the first time in a very long time and keep Ole Miss in Memphis would be pretty sweet.

That appears to have just happened

But what can you say? Om played a good game, LSU played a terrible game until at the very end.
