I am totally wooly about our football team's defense (and rightly so) for 2014. For S&G, and because I have to scratch this wooly itch, I nominate Marcus Bullard against Ray Allen for best defensive performance from an individual, with Robert Bean against Peerless Price in the SEC championship game as honorable mention (Bean wasn't covering Price on the go ahead TD). For best performance as a team, I'll nominate the 1980 team against Bama and JLD's gang against UT in, again, the SEC championship game. Inspired.
