Per David Murray of Genespage, Cohen is taking the softball uniforms that we currently wear out of circulation and going back to the uniforms that we wore in our prime. This was Murray's quote from an event he went to with Cohen as the Keynote :"John also hinted, but wouldn't show or give much detail, on the 2009 uniforms, other than they will be a lot more like what he played in. Something to wait for". For whatever reason I have complete and utter confidence that Cohen will succeed and take us to the level that we deserve.

MSU fans are not far removed from threatening to burn down the Bryan building if LT got rid of the classic logo in favor of the hideous M state logo. Now Cohen is bringing back the old uni's? Man it's great to have competent coaching in 2/3 of the big 3.
He had a drawing of a MSU National Championship ring, and told the crowd that this is what he came for and asked for their help to make it happen.
its about having confidence in your abilities, knowing what school you are at, and changing attitudes. He is conditioning the fans along with the players to believe that we are all working together for a NC. He knows with the support our fans will give and our facilities, that all he has to do is get quality recruits here and it can happen.

We've all known for years that MSU is a program that can contend for a national title. I think we should have 2 national titles in my lifetime and I'm 27 years old. Obviously the '85 team and either the '89 or '90 team. Polk 2.0 sucked this belief out of most of our fans. A large percentage of the fans that were Polk supporters got complacent just like he had become. If Polk was happy as a 2 seed and 35 wins per year, than Johnny MSU fan was happy with that. Cohen has a plan to win a national title. Will he win one? Who knows? But it's damn refreshing to have someone talking about winning a national title at MSU. And it's very, very possible that we can win one in the next few years or at least be in position to win one.
It's high time we had this kind of talk from our baseball coach. If MSU gets to Omaha that has traditionally been enough. I'm glad we have a coach now that doesn't think that way.</p>
I hate the Yankees, but the maroon pinstripe unis with the MS logo were badass. They need to make a comeback. Best. Unis. Ever.
