With the ESPY'S tonight I figured why not ask the pack what they thought was the best MSU related play that occurred this year across all sports.

Nickoe and it's not close. If he doesn't that we may not have the preseason dak hype, Mullen would be on the hot seat, and expectations and excitement for this team would be way, way lower. All from just one play. We still could have beat them in another OT, just saying it's very possible.

Not the best, but Jones vs. Kimdeche deserves mentioning. I can't imagine that the #1 and 2 recruits from the previous years class get to lower their pads at each other very often like that. Just a cool moment.

Nickoe actually had two strips that saved our season

Don't forget the strip in the Arkansas game when the Hogs were driving inside the 10-yard line late in the fourth quarter for the winning score and Nickoe stripped the RB to keep the game tied before we eventually won in OT. Arkansas had all the momentum at that point and looked to be driving for a TD to win the game. That strip might have been even more important than the one in the Egg Bowl, because lose that game to a horrible Arkansas team and there might have been a meltdown and Mullen's seat would be red hot among many people. Amazing how just one play can change so much.

I was in a wedding that day and had to leave in the 4th so I didn't see it and often forget about it
