With the passing of Coach Hicks, I got to wondering what you old heads would say was the best game between the two rivals?
Best Salem/Pulaski Game

1992. Salem Stadium.
Pulaski was AAA Div 6
Salem was AA Div 4
Pulaski had a first and goal from the 3. Up 10-7. Salem holds and Pulaski missed the FG. Game goes back and forth. If memory serves me right, Parker returns second half kickoff for a TD. Later in the game Salem ties it at 22 on a blocked punt that was recovered in the end zone for a TD. Salem stops Pulaski and then scores in the final minute to take the lead 29-22. This would be the final score.
Pulaski doesn't lose another game that yr an wins the Div 6 state title.
Salem would end up losing to Richlands in the semifinals
My memory wasn't too bad considering it's been 30 yrs.
