So fish was so possessed to post Moultrie was the 6th pick in a mock draft he must have believed it. 34 still thinks we have final 4 and nba talent based on others opinions. I like stans and will continue to support him and my university, but his coaching has been ****** of late...no denying that. Let's start here Bost-won't sniff the NBA (jamoney was better and he didn't make it) Sid-nobody will waste $$$ on this, Bryant-forget about it, Hood-frosh that could be good but nobody knows, not a lotto pick as of now, MOUL-KNEE -pouter, no defense, would u take him over Lawrence Roberts? I take LR all day and the only thing he could make was the next security line to hop on Turkish Airways. We don't have NBA talent but if u guys insist I've got the bet for u----

$100 to both fish and coach---

Moultrie not in the top 10 in the 2012 NBA draft

U win I got ur hundo
????Let me know, or spin it however u can

we haven't had a legitmiate NBA player since 1996, but all of the sudden we have 4 guys showing up in mock drafts and people want to say that if they don't make it in the NBA ore eventually aren't drafted that we have no talent.

Tremendous stuff. Of course Moultrie may not be a top 10 guy, but he will get drafted. hell, if he went number 10, some of you would say say we weren't talented because we didn't have a top 5 pick.

And aGAIN, why is is all this being argued in response to losing to GA, LSU and AU? Are ya'll really arguing we don't have the talent they do?

Your comments reek of trying to come up with an excuse for Stansbury like we aren't as talented as everyone thinks...if we aren't talented, then the Recruiter hasn't done his job - he is an awful basketball coach, and if he hasn't recruited or can't recruit talented kids, then he is useless...

Also, I don't think any of our fans are honestly thinking we should have a national title contender every year, but missing the NCAA tourney with this year's team is unacceptable...

But Roberts isn't anywhere close to Moultrie as far as NBA potential goes. Moultrie is bigger and a much better shooter. Roberts was just a tweener as an NBA prospect. He was a center in a small forward's body. Moultrie is a power forward in a power forward's body.

Take it or leave it...

JMoney never should have played point guard, he was a 4 stuck in a guards body... Bost is a much better point guard than Jamont was, but JMoney was a better college player...Bost will get his shot, he does lead the SEC in assists.

Hood will be drafted and play in the NBA..

The RSS is another story, some team will give him a shot, if he really wants it he will make a roster..

When was the last time we had 4 players show up in mock drafts on one team????

The saying was always we have to keep Stansbury because he recruits so well. The Bury Apologists say nobody can recruit at Miss State like Stansbury. Now he is falling on his face once aGAIN- the Bury Apologists are saying we dont have any talent.

Last year at this same time- it was we have to keep Stansbury because of the recruiting class he signed. Fast-forward one year and 40% of that class is gone and who knows what the hell is going to happen with Deville.

The excuses are just getting more and more ridiculous

He's not fast enough, he's not quick enough, he doesn't have amazing hops, he's not an awesome shooter. He is just a great competitor with a little bit of everything. He's got enough to make a nice living in Europe. However, Moultrie, Sidney, and Hood have everything needed to make the NBA. The only thing keeping them from it is their head. If they had someone really helping them get better, they would be NBA players. Moultrie will be no matter what, because he developed enough before he started playing at State. Sidney has no drive and a terrible coaching staff and strength and conditioning program. If he had been helped by the right person and hadn't been such a lazy ***, he would already be in the NBA. Hood has all the tools. All he needs is someone to build his confidence, ball handling, and strength. Hopefully our next coach won't be a dumbass.

I agree coaching has been **** as of lately. If he can't get more out of this team then get rid of him. He has good college talent, but he's not coaching the USA olympic team.

No excuse for Stans if we miss it. Really no excuse for being below an 8 or a 9 seed. But this team just doesn't have the depth to be much better than that. We really only have 4 players and one of themis only good for about 24 minutes per night and is a liability on the defensive end of the court. And again, that is all on Stans.

Fish- ur trap must be shut on that lotto pick u were reppin this week?? Honestly I think ur right with the 1st rounder for him but don't rep the top 6 pick and now u don't believe it. I guess we r all realizing the REAL talent level of this team. 1 guy that may be a 1st rounder.

I was just posting what these draft experts are predicting, it's not my prediction... I predict him to be drafted in the 1st round, it could be with the 6th pick, it could be with the 28th...Hell, he could fail a physical, and not even be drafted, but the fact is that Moultrie leads the SEC in double doubles and rebounding... We do have 3 or 4 guys that will get a shot in the NBA, that's plenty of talent to finish 3rd in the SEC and to beat UGA, LSU, and AU... It's not our talent that is the problem it's our coach, and if you can't see that I can't help you. Tonight we are in the bonus with 12min left in the game, what do we do on offense? Pound it down low to our 1st rounder and drive the lane to get them in foul trouble and to the free-throw line, right!! No we jack up threes.....
