Ingram is only a sophomore, and sophomore Ingram >> sophomore Dixon, so if Ingram follows a path of improvement, he'll probably be better in the long run. Sophomore Ingram and Senior Dixon are pretty close though, and I may give the lean to Dixon right now. Dixon made huge strides this past off season. He was a lot quicker this year and just a better all around back than he was his first 3 years. He always put up good numbers, but this year he was a much better back.
I'm guessing someone got in his ear about the NFL draft and convinced him that he needed to improve, because he made a big transformation this past off-season. As an opposing fan, I'm glad that he's gone now and we only had to face NFL-ready Dixon for one year.
