I saw the trailer for it in the theater and said that is the dumbest looking thing I have ever seen. Judging from the reviews I have seen, I may be wrong.

You are not. Recently went to a movie for the first time in forever to see Gladiator 2. This was one of the previews. I don’t recall the other two but I remarked at the time that 2 of the 3 were so terrible I wanted to question the person who actually bought the script and financed it. Comically terrible stuff.
