You have a team representing your country playing a team from a foreign country but composed entirely of your college team. I think I'd still have to go with the home country.

Obviously it's her business who she roots for, but I'd have a hard time rooting against my current teammates.

Should be a good game. Australia will have no problem matching our size and are an older group overall.

There are a lot of people who play for other teams in World events especially in the Olympics. You see that a lot.

I agree. Thought that guy did a nice job, especially considering he was by himself.

Chloe has been in school at Mississippi State over two years now. She's been playing under this coaching staff, with a number of these players for much or all of that time. Now her entire college team, who she will play with for hopefully two more seasons is Team USA for an international tournament. They're about to play her country's college all star team, which she is not currently on but likely knows many of the players, for a gold medal.

Seems like a tough game to pick a side on if it was me. It also seems like apples and oranges to your simplistic scenario.

Sorry, that's just not correct. Kristy Wallace was on the 2017 Australian team and played the 2017-18 season at Baylor.
