Cignetti likes to talk a lot of sh*t but here’s his non-conference schedules the next few years. Embarrassing. He did great with a great qb & just a couple real games per year. But he wants no part of a sec type schedule.

Why go through the trouble of scheduling the cupcake games when those costs the university money? I’d much rather see an Illinois, Northwestern, TCU and the like be scheduled. The kids want to play NFL to get to the NFL so let’s start exchanging the cupcakes for the lower tier big boys.

I agree with him. Why hurt your chances at a playoff spot? You can get 2nd and 3rd stringers playing time.
