Angelo had 2 really good shots, and worked his *** off and muscled it in to get there and up on one leg. Then pisses it away on the edge when he should have been dragging his *** back in both times. C'mon guys!

If Blaze 165 wears a PSU singlet. That call get confirmed no takedown. No doubt
I am at a loss as to HOW, FERRARI, a #1 guy, can't finish a F-in single!?!?!? Once more, he shows UNREAL POWER lifting the POS off the mat!!!! Yet STILL does not have a finish???? You have the guy in the air, SEAT BELT him right to his back!!!!!
Just had this conversation with my kids... yes the refs missed some calls - and I'm pissed as all heck about them too - but angelo had Rocco in the air twice and didn't finish either shot.
He has missed a ton of the year due to a substantial injury. I was worried he wouldn’t be anywhere close to his best. Not only was that not the case, he basically had nearly all the offense in that match.
The kid has a TON of heart and is a special kind of wrestler. Hopefully he wrestles back to 3rd and they don’t give him another ridiculous seed at NCAA’s…

Look at the difference between Ferrari and Block. Both appeared to be equally as gassed.
Ferrari gets two more good shots and takes the match another 3 minutes extra. Block runs away the last half of the match.
these elite guys can just dig deep and keep going.
Ferrari wrestled tough but lost by 4 seconds. He needs to get in better shape in the next week and a half.
Welsh is a physical specimen. If you can, go back and watch his hand positioning and the far leg in both situations. He is so incredibly strong that he controlled those positions even when he was in the air.
The only way Ferrari finishes either of those would be coming dangerously close to an illegal slam causing Welsh to let go or being able to collect the far leg and/or hip. Welsh’s defense is elite…

No argument there and that is why that brick was SOO damn important. You have to know what your wrestler needs and do whatever it takes to give it to him.

someone needs to go back through that match and pull out all the singlet pulls by Welsh - I think I counted at least 4 - and get that on replay like all the videos counting Angelo going to a knee in the first matchup

Even in the center he doesn’t finish those takedowns any different than how I said. He came nowhere close to clearing his wrists or collecting the opposite hip and/or leg.
