From what I have seen from our coaches all day I'm in favor of a thought process.
There’s also an outside shot at an at large. Think he was ranked top 15 in the last coaches poll and I think his RPI was 10th or 11th. It’s iffy though and not the position he wants to be in.

As far as the Block thing goes I even started off by saying with 39 seconds of riding time it didn’t make sense to go down unless they were afraid of getting ridden. Since I openly admitted I know nothing about his opponent I asked if that could be a reason.

Other coaches use it to their advantage. Its lost on Tom to do that. Also likely he wouldn't even if he thought of it in the moment because it's a p***** thing. Which it is but hey, manage the ballgame skipper
Of course Tom is done with Williams after this season. He'll feel comfortable trotting out Block at 149 and 5-4" Estrada at 157 instead of the other way around. He likes his guys.
