The real issue, however, is that Rutgers picks styles of play, especially on offense, that don't let the team play over its head--which is exactly what it needs since it will never recruit as well as many competitors. As a result, not only does it not beat ranked teams it almost never beats any team ranked higher, even relatively mediocre ones. It's not a recipe for success.LOL. A lot of the non-elite B1G teams have similar records.
I'm sure other programs in weaker conferences (in which there are many games against teams ranked, say, 20-25) will have a lot of fun with this. But they aren't playing an elite schedule like your team, with multiple TOP 10 and TOP 5 teams EVERY SEASON.
In my opinion, teams like Rutgers and Maryland should let stuff like this roll down their back...
Yeah I was surprised at that. Even Michigan doesn't have that great a record...Why 2010? Seems an arbitrary start point. 22 seasons? Why not 20? In 2009 we went 1-1 vs ranked teams.
What's worse is that this makes the whole Big Ten look bad other than Ohio State. Ahhh.. there you go... its an Ohio State brag.
Tell the **** sticks to pay us our money for all the beatings. We still have to pay back loans till 2027 because of that asinine buy in.
