If Texas, Oklahoma and Texas Tech all finish with one loss and are thus tied in the conference standings, the South representative in the Big 12 championship game will be the team that is ranked the highest in the BCS standings... which means that how they end up in the human polls will play a factor in who goes to the game and who could end up playing in the BCS national championship game.

If you were a voter, and assuming all three finish 7-1, who would you vote to go to the Big 12 championship game to play Missouri.

My vote would be Texas. They beat Oklahoma and were a play away from beating Texas Tech on the road.

Yep, the way they lost and the fact that it's the latest loss will scratch Texas Tech from the conversation. Then, it'll all depend on what the voters use. Texas played all of its big games in the middle of the season, and unfortunately for them those big wins aren't fresh on the minds of the voters. What will be fresh on their minds will be OU's win over TTU and OU's likely win over a good Okie State team.

I think a lot of voters will have trouble jumping OU over Texas though because of the Texas win over OU, and I think that's what will get Texas to the Big 12 title game.

The real question comes when and if OSU beat OU (which would send Texas Tech to the Big 12 title game), or if Mizzou throws a wrench in everything and wins the Big 12 title game against Texas, OU, or TTU.
