As I stated before, this bill is a Bunch Of Bloated ********. I am not in favor of the bill. We need smaller bills. We need to massively cut spending. This bill does none of that. I hope Republicans revisit some of these topics in the near future to try and reduce the deficit and debt.

So your concern has nothing to do with the amount of pain it inflicts upon the poor and working class in order to enrich oligarchs, you just want to hurt them more?

140 billion dollar budget for ICE, as Trump announces that he plans to begin targeting US citizens for deportation

Trump has his gestapo funding now, signed sealed and delivered by a traitorous congress, elected by an uneducated and objectively stupid voting base

Some good news on the BBB

"Claims on X and some sources suggest 1.3 to 1.4 million undocumented immigrants are on Medicaid, often citing a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimate. However, these claims are misleading, as the CBO analysis refers to state-funded programs, not federal Medicaid, and includes potential coverage losses from proposed legislation, not current federal Medicaid enrollment. Undocumented immigrants are explicitly ineligible for comprehensive federal Medicaid coverage."

But a podcaster without a college education said differently.

You mean the clean energy projects that only exist because of massive taxpayer subsidies?
I'm talking about the millions of high-paying jobs in red states that will be abolished. Are you saying those jobs wouldn't be good for the economy?

So Eric Schmitt is flat out lying?
Are you really unable to scroll up so that I have to re-post my previous response?

Your info is incorrect in reality as the blue states are covering the illegals and then putting in for reimbursement from federal funds. This will be denied once the bill is implemented fully.
It's not really a reimbursement, they are proposing reducing Medicaid funding to those states because they offer healthcare to immigrants, including RED state Utah. I propose that blue states reduce the amount of tax revenue they send to the government that funds red states if they aren't allowed to use the funds the way they see fit. There is a good reason to do this as it's cheaper for these states to do this than cover all healthcare costs incurred at the emergency room.

There is no limit to the amount of cruelty this dictatorship is willing to dish out and I predict it will backfire on them badly - approval polls show it already is.

They are governing as a group that knows it can control elections and knows they won’t have to answer to the public they were elected to represent

And it only benefits the rich. People are beyond stupid for supporting this bill. Lets not forget the ban on AI legislation
The rich. It benefits the people that pay the taxes. That is what we voted on. Inflation was the #1 issue and the voters said no more.

Democrats - “Tax the rich! The billionaires make too much money!” They then proceed to tax people making over $250k.

Why do the poor have to make all the sacrifices for this cruel bill? The rich will lose nothing at all and you're fine with that? You svck.

Imagine defending billionaires who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. Trump and his admin could not care less about you. You are simply a pawn to be used, and you’re filling the role nicely. I’m sorry you were so manipulated, but the fear factor propaganda worked like a charm on the MAGA base.
