i have some inside knowledge of the situation (from another NBA player).
the girl was more than willing to please kobe. kobe was no stranger to having a good time on the road. kobe chose the girl's butt, and she was happy to oblige. well, things were hot and heavy and the girl was injured badly in that area. a couple of days later, seeing how the girl was hurting (and not explaining what was going on), the girl's mother made her go to the doctor. after finding out what happened, the girl's mother made her sue kobe.
now, why a mother would force her daughter to be dragged through all that is beyond me. i guess she wanted kobe to pay for what he did to her daughter. but that's the story.
