It’s a shame indeed - too much emphasis on “production” and it fell flat. They should rethink this for next year. I want to see the MENS team. Not apologizing for being an old fart and remembering when we were one of the few schools that highlighted first day of practice. Used to be special and exciting.

It's sad that it's a Friday night I had nothing to do at all but hang out with the kiddos and didn't turn on madness one second.
If someone post the youtube replay I might watch it and fast forward to the men's but it's just bad timing to do this on top of the lack of excitement. I can't wait to be pumped up about basketball again. It's not happening anytime soon tho.

Next year I heard it's being switched to a lay up contest. Trying to keep players fresh.
Why don't we just not have a season all together. Players could get hurt.
I mean they practice all the time. Obviously we are dealing with injuries here but the odds of injury here is minimal lol.
Next season UK should replace Big Blue Madness with a doubleheader. Women and Men play Athletes in Action.

What's crazy is that would usually be the Greek freaks brother to get a spot like that. Or LeBrons son. But to sign a player to keep another player that wasn't even good enough to break the rotation last year is beyond anything crazy i can even think to say.
