I remember turning games off in the 4th quarter the past couple of years, because I knew what was going to happen. This is new territory, and it's getting real fun to watch.

I used to enjoy college basketball a whole lot more than the NBA. However, the Grizz are a fine example of how the NBA in many cases has a much better brand of basketball than the college game these days.

The college game has turned to dogshit with the emergence of the AAU circuit as the prime breeding ground for talent. Players don't know how to play the game, so most games morph into some junk form of basketball on the college level.

In the NBA, there are still some of the teams with superstars that will do a lot of standing around and isolations for said superstars, but the good teams that don't have a guy to give it to and get out of the way do play a good brand of basketball.

And even the teams with superstars can't get by without playing defense. The Grizz in particular are refreshing to watch after spending most of the winter watching the crap that college teams call basketball these days.

Tony allen was great with Fish.? The lifting weights line was fantastic, but he had no chance to be as good as the Grit-Grind postgame in OKC last time. It may be time to blow off work at lunch tomorrow for he knicks game.
