I hate to say this, but Pitts radio network in the Harrisburg area is better than PSU. Their FB & BB are carried by AM1460 which is the local sports radio channel. I can never remember which channel carries our games. Used to 105.7 rock station and now I think it's something in FM 90s somewhere toward Lancaster.

To me like them or not IF (a big IF) ND were to join the Big 10 the media rights would get another big boost and $$$
I think it's just a matter of time before they have no choice but to join. Gotta believe the next couple of years will be a survival exercise for a ton of teams that are not in the B1G and SEC

WOW ! Didn't realize how serious this new money deal is until I saw this online.

Annual national media revenue, per reports of deals:
NFL: $10B per year
EPL: $4.2B per year
NBA: $2.6B per year
MLB: $1.96B per year
BIG TEN: $1.07B per year
NHL: $625M per year
SEC: $588M per year

The B1G dwarfs the SEC in payout money

Notre Dame is not going to join the B10 or any other conference as they are going to be just fine without joining a conference because:

-they'll be able to put together a "significant" tv package (revenue) through NBC for their home games and ABC/ESPN for their ACC/away games.
-they can keep all of their bowl and CFP money without splitting it with other conference members. This is big dollars.

I'm not going to quote a specific dollar number, but the sum of those dollars as outlined above will get them "close enough" to maintain their independence, especially when:

-they will still have access to the CFP (especially when the number of teams increase).
-they can continue to keep their USC, Stanford, and Navy annual rivalry games.
-they can continue to maintain a conference affiliation for all sports other than football (ACC)

The only way they will join a conference is if the other P5 teams join together in a collusion based effort to refuse to schedule them and not allow them in the CFP as an independent. That will NEVER happen, so Notre Dame gets to have their cake and eat it too.

I feel that the Bowl and Play Off money should be kept by the teams playing in them. What chance does Rutgers have of making the Play Off? Yet they get a piece of the action if Ohio State or Michigan or God for sake Penn State makes it. The Rutgers of the world get an equal share of the TV monies. Let the Bowl money be an incentive and a reward for those teams that excel.

They get a piece of CFP money even if no Big Ten team makes the playoffs.
