1st year is the East schedule without Indiana. Thanks a lot B1G, I bet the schedule makers were up all night thinking this one over SMH

I mentioned this in the other thread but away games are white and home games are gray. It’s on the side of the chart.

So Indiana replaced by UCLA.

Wow not forgiving. Hard to get over the hump with that schedule.

VaTech on the road as well in 2024. I know they're not the VaTech of old but the 2024 schedule is probably as hard as any since joining the Big Ten. Need to make strides this year to be ready for 2024.

Ugh....they game Rutgers 9 (nine!!) Big Ten opponents again!! This is unacceptable. When is the conference going to stop screwing over Rutgers?
How will we ever make headway in the Big Ten when we have to play all these Big Ten teams every year?

Bigger picture -- this is the B1G. If it wasn't when we were invited, it is what the B1G was in the process of becoming -- an even more competitive and more successful conference. If we couldn't imagine playing all of the teams in the conference 10 years ago, then what was the point in joining (or, more accurately, what was the point in being happy that we were joining)? Like, the point was to be happy to be in this big, historic, and proud conference and collect more money than we were getting in the old Big East .. but playing an equivalent schedule? No. We would play a Michigan, an OSU, and a PSU and .. etc etc. (and sometimes all in the same year!). That's part of being a member. The schedule is always a grind, regardless of how it's configured.

That the conference has expanded, or the divisions changed (or, now eliminated), or that the schedule changed too isn't the problem. The only problem is that -- based on the last several years -- we haven't been able to be or remain as competitive or successful here. Hopefully, we will be. Some of our conference-mates have been able to do that (and we don't have to have that conversation here).

I, like every other fan here, want to see success. Hopefully, I will be able to before I die.
