Would have atleast 4 SEC/BIG XII match ups. There was no doubt that these two conference were the best this season. We should already have our Oklahoma/Florida matchup, I think it'd be crazy to have another BCS matchup between Texas and Alabama. It'd be pretty tight to have a couple lower bowls between other schools like OSU/UGA and maybe Mizzou and Ole Miss.

If these bowls, or maybe a combination of a few others happened, who do you think would come up on top? I'd like to hear others thoughts on why they think which conference is better too. I know most of the people here will lean towards the SEC, but the Big XII imo showed that they definitely are better this year I feel.

Too many below-average teams (especially at the QB position) in SEC this year.

Long term, there are too many great coaches in the SEC, and I have no doubt Auburn, UGa, UT, and LSU will be back up very soon. Let's just pray we can join the ranks of those teams with a special coach.

The SEC is leading the Big XII with number of bowl eligible teams 8 - 7.

The 8 for the SEC are Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, South Carolina, LSU, Vandy and Kentucky

The 7 for Big XII are Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Mizzou, Nebraska, and Kansas

In sheer numbers, the SEC wins that, but the actual caliber of teams that they have eligible, it's a toss up and either side can make an argument for which is better.

Not that it matters...but I thought it's kind of gay that Alabama and Texas aren't playing. I was kind of hoping that they were.

because I cannot tell of the Big 12 offenses are that good, or it's just that the defenses are that bad. On the face of it, this year's Big 12 looks a lot like the Pac-10 or the WAC.
