That's alright. Let every Cal player but Reed and Perry go. Sick of these mercs. But Z would be a damn fool to go to Arkansas. After what Cal did to him.

Damn. He should really consider coming back after evaluating everything. I have no reason to doubt Big Z would have received ample playing time under a big man coach like Pope and thrived in his 5 out offense if he wants to thrive in the league. No one better than someone who has actually been in your shoes to teach you.
Let’s get this **** over with and get back to being Kentucky.
Hopefully him and Pope will at least have a talk on how’d be be used next year.

Moving forward, “being Kentucky “ will mean recruiting players exactly like Z in the transfer portal.

His NIL is much more difficult because he’s here on a student visa. He will have to earn his money outside of the country like Oscar did.

Would love to have him back but this is in no way Catastrophic. Not saying anythone things that, but its definitely not.

I think people need to face that all the players and recruits are gone even Reed.It might be tough next season and take time for Pope to build a contender.
Man should’ve gave Pope a chance to talk to him would’ve fit nice into Pope’s offense. If he follows Cal to Arkansas after the way Cal used him after finally becoming eligible then Pope needs not to waste any time or energy on him. Move onto the next player that wants to play here!

would be interesting if anyone from the administration has talked to the players from the 2023/24 team and the Cal recruits. And I am saying talking to at least asking the players not to make a move until they discuss with new coach directly and give them assurance about improved NIL.

I hope he doesn’t go to Arkansas. Cal will leave him on the bench or make him stay in the paint now that Welch is at Fresno state. Kids making a huge mistake not staying and giving Pope a chance.

That is the saddest thing to me. We really rallied behind him. He acted like he loved BBN but in the end none of these modern players outside a very select few care about fans or the university they play for.
Z made a big mistake. A big man who can shoot the three would fit well in Pope's offense. He's leaving the best situation he's ever going to have.
He's following Cal to Arkansas which is to be expected. I'm sure Pope is trying to bring some of his BYU guys with him to UK.
