I’m not even thinking of winning many games until we see a roster. I was really hoping some of these kids, especially ones like Burks and Z would have considered staying before announcing a portal option.

Not a good trade talent wise, I know we need bodies and maybe the top 3-4 players at BYU would have a role here.
I never understood your alls obsession with Z. He’s not a bad player but he’s multiple years away from being what we need.

That’s exactly it I think. He’s not a for sure One and Done and he is the type than can stay for 2-3 years and be super solid. That’s why we all like him so much.

Hit to the moral I guess but I wasn’t impressed with Z except his debut. Wayyyyy too slow on defense and just to weak. He still needs a lot of work.
Wouldn't it be terribly ironic if Cal, who normally tries to push everyone out, decided to change out of spite, and brought back of his kids from last season. That would be the ultimate middle finger.

Pretty sure Golden kept some UF holdovers and gave them a chance but decided next year that weren’t a good fit for his system and hit the portal.
If Z follows Cal to Arkansas like it seems . Cal probably sold him on bringing him along slow due to the late start and is telling him that won’t he the case next season .
I ignorantly choose to think peopel cares about what’s best for the kid instead of starring what’s right in front of my face. A quick payday always overrides the best situation for the kid
